Mike applies over 25 years of deep and broad HR operational experience to issues faced by Jeitosa’s clients. His previous positions include top HR leadership roles with such organizations as ITT, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Zurich Financial Services and salesforce.com. He has expertise in virtually every function of HR, with emphasis on change management, talent management, strategy formulation, corporate transformation, metrics and business ethics.

Accomplishments
- QAD: Developed an employee communications program for this software developer that was implementing a new HRMS. Using Jeitosa's model, the communications program was part of a comprehensive change management program designed to insure maximum acceptance and usage of the new system.
- Huawei Americas: Worked with the new CHRO of the US subsidiary of a large Chinese firm to develop an HR strategy in congruence with the expectations of her Chinese leadership teams both in the US and China.
- Gensler: Helped this large engineering firm to define the internal and external resources needed to implement their new HRMS.
- NorthBay Healthcare: Directed the evaluation of the benefits administration processes and systems and outlined the alternatives for upgrade or replacement for this regional healthcare system.
- salesforce.com: As Senior VP, Employee Services for this industry-leading SaaS provider, managed all aspects of the HR function. Responsible for selecting and implementing Workday, compiling the first HR Strategy and developing a new performance management system based on the Force.com platform.
- Farmers Insurance Group: As VP, Human Resource Services, managed a function of 185 professionals for this national insurer with 19,000 employees and 15,000 dedicated agents. During his tenure, the HR function won the National HR Service Excellence Award. Directed the re-engineering of the HR function including reorganization to respond to needs of internal customers, introduction of extensive automated systems, revisions of all job specifications, redeployment of resources and extensive change management program to insure acceptance by both HR staff and internal customers.
- Zurich Personal Insurance: As SVP, Corporate Development for this US division of the global insurer, directed HR, Communications, Market Research, Facilities, and Strategic Planning. Implemented a completely revamped incentive program, managed the integration of this operation into Farmers Insurance and supervised the construction of a new parking facility.
- Empire Blue Cross & Blue Shield: As the Senior VP, Human Resources & Services of the then largest Blue Plan in the US, directed all HR and Facilities functions. Part of the three person Executive Steering Committee responsible for the complete transformation of all departments and processes throughout the company. Phases included top-level planning, organization of internal work teams, evaluation and selection of external consultants, a full change management program and the determination and measurement of success metrics.
- Jeitosa: Co-developed Jeitosa’s Comprehensive Change Management and Talent Management Models and authored most of the collateral materials for both internal and external users.
