History

Our History

Jeitosa's global experts embody more than 600 years of experience in global human resources, finance, and enterprise technology systems.

September, 2004 - The Jeitosa Group International was founded by Karen Beaman and Lisa Faucher in 2004 with offices in New York city. Initial clients included The Conference Board, Fidelity Employer Services, Schering-Plough, and Google.

January, 2005 - Jeitosa set up a Transnational Network to focus on global human resources and information technology across Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Christian Adlung joined as Vice President of Europe and Luiz Henrique de Oliveira as Vice President of Latin America.

April, 2005 - Jeitosa began working with Workday, the new initiative by Dave Duffield to create the next generation of enterprise applications for the agile, modern workforce. Jeitosa associates were part of the team responsible for the strategic design, business requirements definition, and testing of the first release of the Human Capital Management application. Jeitosa also provided the initial support for the sales and implementation functions.

October, 2006 - Jeitosa opened up its San Francisco office and expanded its Transnational Network by adding 20 internationally experienced consultants.

November, 2006 - Jeitosa set up an Advisory Board of Directors and accepted investment from leading executives in the technology sector: Bill Campbell, General Partner of Marbill, Dave Duffield, CEO/Co-Founder of Workday, and Ken Gardner, CEO/Founder of SOASTA.

December, 2006 - Jeitosa positions itself for rapid growth with the addition of: Chris Orcutt as Vice President of Technology to build products and tools to support Jeitosa in the market place; Grant Du Plooy as Vice President of Talent Acquisition to ensure the recruiting and retention of top quality consultants; and Mady Gorrell as Vice President of Marketing to build the company's brand image and expand its global reach.

January, 2007 - Jeitosa appoints Peter Pervere, former CFO of Sybase and Commerce One, to its Advisory Board of Directors.

August, 2007 - Jeitosa begins working with The Conference Board to build a global Equal Opportunity Database, starting with an initial set of five countries, eventually expanding to cover the globe.

September, 2007 - Jeitosa adds John Macy as Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific to support the company's strategy and deployment services throughout the Asia Pacific region.

October, 2007 - Jeitosa participates as a Gold Sponsor in the first-ever Workday Rising Conference at the Omni Hotel in San Francisco.

February 2007 - Jeitosa goes live in just two weeks on Workday's Human Capital Management product across 10 countries.

March, 2008 - Jeitosa continues its explosive growth by hiring Eric Johnson as Vice President of Systems Deployment and Chief Operating Officer, Drew Fralley as Vice President of Business Development, and Gunjan Aggarwal as Director of Finance and Accounting.

May, 2008 - Jeitosa continues to add clients in the deployment practice working with such companies as TRW, ITT, Millennium, Zip Realty, Brandes, McKee Foods, Salesforce, Liquidnet, QAD, among others.

August 2008 - Jeitosa opens up its first regional office, expanding outside of North America, in São Paulo, Brazil. Long time Jeitosa leader and global advisor, Luiz Henrique de Oliveira relocated back to Brazil to build the company's Latin American business.

September, 2008 - Jeitosa strengthens its leadership team with the addition of Mike Kent as Chief Human Resources Officer and Steve Parker as Executive Consultant responsible for growing the business strategy practice.

December, 2008 - Jeitosa goes live on Workday's Applicant Tracking and Performance Management modules.

December, 2008 - Jeitosa completes its financial year by doubling its consultant workforce to now 50 across the globe and tripling revenues over last year.

January, 2009 - Jeitosa opens up its second regional office in London, United Kingdom, with Christian Adlung leading the growth of the company in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

March, 2009 - Jeitosa opens up its third regional office in Sydney, Australia, with long time Jeitosa leader and global advisor, John Macy, leading the region.

June, 2009 - Jeitosa continues its growth with the promotion of Steve Parker to Vice President and General Manager of North America, responsible for sales and delivery for the US, Canada, and Mexico.

August 2009 - Jeitosa develops a strategic relationship with HSBC Latin America to develop, support and manage their global compensation process throughout 15 Latin American countries.

November, 2009 - Jeitosa certified for Safe Harbor Certification to ensure the privacy and protection of the data for all associates, partners, and clients worldwide.
