She is Editor-in-Chief of the IHRIM Journal and is currently working on her fourth industry-focused book. Karen is credited for setting the strategy and developing the design for Workday's new global HCM offering. In 2002, she was honored with IHRIM's Summit Award recognizing her outstanding achievement in the field of HR systems. |
Eric JohnsonGM and Vice President of DeploymentEric Johnson has more than 22 years of HR, payroll, and systems implementation and management experience for large multinational organizations in roles as Functional Business Lead, Project Manager, Director of a Project Management Office, and Director of Professional Services on multiple ERP platforms including SAP, PeopleSoft and ADP. Before joining Jeitosa, he was the Senior Director of multinational implementation for the Americas on ADP’s GlobalView offering. Eric has a strong methodological background, having spearheaded the development of both systems deployment and project management methodologies for AGConsulting, as well as managed the organizational and staff transition to the new framework. |
Luiz Henrique de OliveiraVice President, Business Strategy and Latin America / Senior Global AdvisorLuiz de Oliveira has more than 25 years experience in information systems and human resource management. Before joining Jeitosa, Luiz served as Senior Product Strategist, setting the strategy and developing the design for Workday’s new global HCM offering. Previously he was responsible for Customer Service, Sales and Marketing in Latin America for ADP and served as Vice President for ADP Global Services, developing global payroll solutions, implementing and supporting global accounts. |
Chris OrcuttVice President, Technology / Principal Integration ConsultantA software architect, developer and technical leader of multi-tier Human Resource applications, Chris Orcutt has over 16 years of experience creating computer software. Most recently, he was co-founder and chief architect at Excient, where he built an HR product that aggregates benefit provider data extracts for a total compensation view of employees' benefits in any language. Previously, Chris developed the Print to PDF functionality used in ADP's Total Rewards software, and was a Senior Consultant with AGConsulting. |
Mady GorrellVice President, MarketingA marketing and business development specialist, Mady has provided marketing and communication strategy leadership to Fortune 1000 and emerging growth organizations for over two decades. Most recently, she founded CoChel Communication Strategies where she and her team lead projects for HCI, PeopleSoft/Oracle, Human Capital Source, EquaTerra, BrassRing, SDG, Wells Fargo, Chevron, Jackson Hole Group, Spencer Stuart, CRI, Talent Technology Corporation, and the US Navy. Prior to founding CoChel, Mady headed the marketing team at Saratoga Institute, and served as Director of Corporate Communications and Director of Partner Marketing at BrassRing. She is the strategist behind many HCM-focused advisory boards, books, and partner programs. |
Grant Du PlooyVice President, Talent AcquisitionAn executive search specialist, Grant started out with Silicon Valley's highly-respected BridgeGate Group, a retained executive search firm, before joining AGConsulting to help lead their talent acquisition requirements in the booming Enterprise Software consulting field. Thereafter, he formed a boutique search firm; Tolfrey Group, to service ERP clients, and has remained at the helm for nearly a decade, until 2007. During the stay at BridgeGate Group and Tolfrey Group, Grant worked with clients as diverse as Oracle Corporation, World Savings Bank, Franklin Templeton, KLA-Tencor, Presto Services, Terrace Consulting, County of Napa and the Judiciary Council of California, and many others. |
Christian AdlungVice President, Europe / Senior Global AdvisorChristian Adlung brings to Jeitosa's Europe operations more than 20 years of experience in information technology and development and project leadership of payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. He has over 15 years experience in a global/EMEA business environment with significant experience working with large corporations on HCM service models and business process reengineering. Previously, Christian built and expanded the HCM consultancy division of a major payroll company in Germany, UK, and Latin-America, as well as had operational responsibility for a German payroll outsourcing division. He is currently responsible for business development in EMEA with Convergys Employee Care. Christian holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Bremen. |

He is the founder of Competitive Edge Technology, a consulting company formed in 1994 specializing in Human Capital Management software. He is an advocate of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web services, component-based applications and business driven standards to achieve greater flexibility and integration. In 2002 he published the HR component software application standard and set up the first component software brokerage. In 2006 he introduced the first commercial component registry for HR products. He was the founder and CEO of Istante (acquired by Oracle in Dec 2004); Sagent Technology (IPO in Apr 1999); ReportSmith (acquired by Borland in Mar 1994); and ViewPoint Systems (acquired by Knowledgeware in Jun 1992). He sits on the board of directors for Everdream Corporation and Accept Software. |
Peter PerverePeter Pervere was Chief Financial Officer of Commerce One between 1997 and 2002. Prior to joining Commerce One, Pervere was Vice President and Corporate Controller of Sybase, Inc. He was directly involved in the Initial Public Offerings and subsequent financings at Commerce One and Sybase. For both companies, he managed all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, tax, financial planning, treasury, investor relations, real estate and facilities management. Prior to joining Sybase, Pervere was an Audit Manager at Ernst and Young. He currently serves on the boards of Intraware, Inc. and the Berkeley Repertory Theater. Pervere received a B.A. from Stanford University, was certified as a Public Accountant in California, and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute. |
